Not necessarily. Restructuring can mean shifting roles, clarifying tasks, or improving communication flow. While we support businesses during tough transitions, many of our clients restructure to retain their best people—not remove them.

Do you tell us who to let go?

No. We help you see where things are stuck, duplicated, or missing—but the decisions stay with you. We’ll provide honest, evidence-based feedback and recommendations, but always in service of your goals and values.

Will our team know we’re “restructuring”?

Only if you want them to. Some clients want full transparency; others prefer to frame this as role clarity or team refresh work. We’ll help you choose language that feels right for your culture and minimizes fear.

Is this a one-time service or ongoing?

Most restructuring work is short-term and focused. However, we do offer add-ons and follow-up options if you need longer-term support—especially during leadership transitions or growth periods.

Do you help with internal promotions or reassignments?

Yes. We can help assess internal candidates, suggest potential fits, and even coach managers through the transition. Restructuring often uncovers hidden potential—and we’ll help you tap into it.

Do you offer outplacement or help with layoffs?


Yes, but only if the focus is respectful transition. We can guide conversations, suggest wording, and help the rest of the team adjust. But we’re not legal advisors—we work on the human side of the shift.

How long does a typical restructuring engagement take?

That depends on complexity. A light function reset can take 2–4 weeks. A full team realignment might take 60–90 days with weekly checkpoints.

How do payments and guarantees work for restructuring services?

Once we sign a service agreement, an upfront payment is required to begin the work. This secures your project slot and covers the planning, interviews, and initial engagement.

We don’t offer a traditional “guarantee” in restructuring because we’re not selling a product—we’re co-creating a solution with you. However, our work is iterative and responsive:

  • You’ll receive drafts, recommendations, and insights along the way—not just at the end.
  • If something doesn’t land well, we revisit it.
  • We’re not disappearing after delivery—we include a follow-up window for post-implementation adjustments, check-ins, or coaching support (length varies by package).

If the work involves recruitment (e.g., replacing a team member), our recruitment guarantee applies: We’ll replace the candidate at no cost within the first 90 days—only if we selected and placed the candidate and if the role expectations were followed as agreed.

⚠️ If you choose a different candidate than the one(s) we recommended, this guarantee does not apply. If a replacement is requested, we require a detailed explanation outlining performance concerns, support offered, and specific examples—so we can make the right call together.

This protects everyone’s time, ensures accountability on both sides, and helps us deliver sustainable results—not quick fixes.
